Make your own granola bars!

I'm a firm believer in healthy substitutes. I'm not about NOT eating the foods I like. I will eat pizza, just a healthier version of it. I will eat cookies, just sub out different ingredients. There's a few foods though that I've had difficulty finding that have really good for you ingredients, and taste good to me! I've found a few on the shelf ones but they still have added sugars, even if it is organic, I still wasn't all that happy with my options. I should also add, that TASTE good.
Salad dressing is one of them, but luckily I finally founde THE perfect one I love (i'll share later). Granola bars is another. Then I came across a recipe that had 5 ingredients! That's it! The only sweetener is has is honey, but I'm able to control what honey I put in there. Plus I added chocolate chips, but they were healthier chocolate chips I was able to put in.

They were super easy to make, and made about 15 bars. Definitely freeze them for the recommended hour it says in the recipe, but I wanted to add that they were kind of crumbly when I tried them right after an hour. I then put them in the fridge overnight (where they stay) and the next day, they held up way better.

You can also add any type of add ins you want!

Enjoy!
