I've been obsessed with YouTube lately and some of my favorite videos to watch are ones where the YouTuber does their "favorites" videos. Whether it been their favorite products that month or what they ate throughout the day etc...I like it because then I get new ideas!
I've also been putting on challenge groups on fb every month (with the exception of when I moved) and the one thing people are always looking for is new recipes! New foods to try. I also have a clean eating group that just started up and got 50 people interested, so that's telling me people are really craving new ideas!
So I thought it'd be fun to do a what I ate in review of the past week. And I literally just decided to do this like an hour ago so I won't have much this first week lol! But I'll try and be better about documenting it throughout the week. And I won't go into detail about every single meal and snack, but if I try something new or something I'm just really loving.
So let's get started!
This was gooood. My husband made it when I wanted a healthy meal but didn't want to cook. It's a citrus rhyme salmon with roasted potatoes and asparagus. So so good!
I love salmon so much!
I spent a few days in a row snacking on this while watching My Diet is better than your diet.
Oh and btw, if anyone loves Shaun T but doesn't like it when he's yelling at you in his workout videos, he's the host of this show! Lol!
Shakeology mug cake! This is for my sweet tooth fix. It's single serve and take s 90 seconds in the microwave to cook. It's best paired with fresh fruit!
My new favorite! Egg cups. So easy guys! This is wrapped in organic deli turkey and has onions and spinach in it. It's even so good reheated!
I also tried grain free peanut butter Apple blender mini muffins. These were easy to make, and good clean ingredients! Because of the peanut butter they are a bit greasy to the touch but really good.
I made good use out of the blueberries I bought! This is a brown rice cake topped with pb, blueberries, and chia seeds! It's a good filling snack!
And lastly, avocado egg salad. I took 2 hard boiled eggs, mashed up half an avocado, added lemon juice, Himalayan salt and pepper and voila! You can top it on a piece of bread, or I dipped brown rice crackers in them.
That's all the pictures I took this past week. If anyone wants recipes of certain things, let me know!
Elise
