3 day refresh recap!

I love the 3 day refresh so much! Why?! Because you get immediate results yes, but if you're looking for a way to reset your system nutritionally, this is the way!
This is my 3rd time doing it. I did it a few times last year as well. This is for people who need a reset on their eating habits, or people looking to start off their weight loss journey. Or in my case, when you've had a few bad weeks of eating and no exercise lol!






So what is it? It's 3 days of a mixture of shakeology, a fiber drink, a few other shakes it comes with called vanilla refresh, and you get to eat veggies, some fruit, and some healthy fats. You also get tea and broth. The plan is well put together in that it gives you the exact steps to do, what to eat and when to eat it. Pretty simple to follow.  Usually when I do it, I have a main theme and stick to it. This time around I ate a lot of strawberries and my homemade guac.





                                              

                                                

Oh the fiber sweep. I am not a fan. It's funny because I hear so many different opinions on it. Some people don't like the vanilla fresh but don't mind the fiber sweet. Others like the vanilla fresh and don't like the fiber. I'm the latter. I gag every.single.time. I'll be honest and say I don't like it! It tastes like lemon but for me, it's the texture! BUT i chug it and it's over with, luckily it's only once a day.


                                              


I got tea 3 times throughout the day and I took that chance whenever I could! I love tea and since it's been cold, I enjoyed it that much more!

                                                       


I didn't do my regular workouts because you really shouldn't be doing extreme workouts while on it. You're getting your nutrition with the foods and shakes, BUT you're definitely cutting calories and not leaving much reserves for anything high impact. I did my recovery dvd on max30 one day, didn't do anything on day 2, then did light piyo (mainly for the stretching) on day 3.

 This was me on the night of day 3. I was extremely happy to have real food the next day, if you can't tell!


Throughout the whole time I felt tired. I think because I'd been drinking a lot of caffeine before, so when I was without, I was missing it haha!
Every now and then I would be hungry, and that was mostly at night or right before dinner. After I ate my meals and snacks I did feel full.

MY RESULTS:

I lost 5-6 lbs, but most importantly, I felt debloated! Taking away the bloat is what I was after. Weeks of bad eating was catching up with me, and I was feeling it. 





I really was happy taking this picture! I had literally just woken up though and don't think I was fully awake yet 😊
I did this with a group of girls on a private fb page. We all committed to these 3 days, and we all got amazing results! At this current moment, we lost a collective 30 lbs and counting! So proud of the girls and of myself for sticking through this.
And mostly importantly, it got me back on my healthy eating path again.
